FAQ
FAQ
What is Voice AI for oral assessment?
A digital platform in which a student receives instruction, can practice and can be assessed through spoken interaction. The system asks questions, listens to the answer and follows up based on defined assessment criteria.
Is it only for exams?
No. The same environment can be used for instruction, practice, role plays, professional conversations and preparation for presentations or defenses.
What material can be used as a basis?
Course material, cases, rubrics, assessment forms, study guides and training scenarios.
Does the AI assess the conversation itself?
The AI conducts the conversation and provides reasoning against the assessment criteria. For a summative exam, the examiner remains responsible for the final judgement.
Which languages can be used?
Supported languages depend on the setup. During the exploration we discuss which language or languages are needed.
What happens to voice recordings?
Recordings and transcripts are personal data and fall under the data processing agreement with your institution.
Is it accessible for students with a speech or hearing impairment?
An oral assessment is not the right format for every student. Alternative assessment formats should be considered during setup.
