What is the difference between written, digital and oral assessment in this offer?
Written assessment is about grading answers and assignments that have already been completed. Digital assessment is about administering tests in a secure online environment, including proctoring and certification. Oral assessment is about spoken interaction: instruction, practice and oral exams through Voice AI.
Who are the solutions for?
For secondary schools, vocational education, universities of applied sciences, universities and research groups. The digital assessment platform is also used by employers, certification bodies, training providers and compliance departments that need traceable assessment results.
Does the teacher remain responsible when AI supports grading?
Yes. The AI proposes an assessment and feedback; the teacher reviews, adjusts and finalizes it. No grade is made final without a teacher involved.
How does Southbeach EdTech Publishing handle privacy and GDPR?
The education institution is the controller and Southbeach EdTech Publishing is the processor. Processing is arranged through a data processing agreement, a list of subprocessors and agreements about retention and deletion. The full explanation is available in the privacy statement.
Are education data used to train AI models?
No. Test answers, feedback and other customer education data are not used to train general AI models. Ask for the current data processing agreement and subprocessor list during the demo.
Can a solution connect to our LMS?
Integrations are assessed per situation. During the exploration we discuss which system you use and which data need to be exchanged.
How does implementation work?
In four steps: an exploratory conversation about process and target group, a demo with your own material, a pilot with a limited group of teachers or students, and then rollout with instruction and support.
Which languages are available?
This website starts with Dutch and English. Language support within each platform differs per product and will be discussed during the exploratory conversation.
