Terms and conditions UpGrade
This English version is a publication-ready draft for the website. For legal use, have the final wording checked by a lawyer.
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of UpGrade: a digital tool that supports schools and teachers with grading, assessment and feedback on student work.
UpGrade is intended to support the teacher. The teacher or school remains responsible for final assessment, feedback and communication.
2. No automated final decision
UpGrade does not make independent final decisions about students. Output is a proposal or aid. A qualified teacher or school employee must review and finalize scores, grades, feedback and reports.
3. Privacy and data
Personal data are handled under the privacy statement and, where applicable, a separate data processing agreement.
4. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are preferably resolved through consultation first.
