This privacy statement explains how UpGrade handles personal data when supporting schools and teachers with grading, assessment and feedback.

2. Our role

When UpGrade is used by a school, the school is usually the controller and Southbeach B.V. acts as processor. For website contact, administration, invoicing and security, Southbeach B.V. may act as controller.

3. Data use

Personal data are used to provide, secure, support and improve the service within the agreed limits. Student data are not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train general AI models unless separately agreed in writing.
